How do I plan a route with multiple stops?
Add your addresses, choose the start and finish, then select Optimize route. Those endpoints stay fixed while Sort My Stops reorders the stops between them.
How do I add more than 10 stops to Google Maps?
Google Maps supports 10 locations total: a starting point plus up to nine stops, including the final destination. Optimize up to 100 addresses in Sort My Stops first, then open the result as app-sized route segments.
Is there a free route planner with no stop limit?
No free planner is literally unlimited. Sort My Stops accepts 100 addresses per route and has no published daily route quota, although fair-use and rate limits still apply. Multi-driver work needs dispatch software.
Does it guarantee the shortest or fastest possible route?
No. It uses estimated road drive times and a practical optimization method to find an efficient order, not a mathematically guaranteed optimum. Estimates do not include live traffic.
Can I import addresses from Excel?
Yes. Paste a column of addresses or upload an .xlsx or .csv file. Anything that does not match cleanly is flagged so you can correct it on a map before you drive.
Can I open the route on my phone with a QR code?
Yes. QR codes and Maps links cover the full route in segments. The separate mobile checklist includes only the first 25 stops.
Which navigation apps are supported?
You can open routes and individual stops in Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze and OsmAnd. Sort My Stops determines the stop order; the selected app provides navigation. Long routes are divided into segments that fit each app's limits.
What is the difference between the shortest route and the fastest route?
The shortest route minimizes miles; the fastest minimizes estimated travel time. Sort My Stops orders stops using drive-time data rather than straight-line distance.
