Why there is no paid tier yet
Free products in this category use different limits. Some cap stops, some cap daily optimizations, and Shipday publishes the same 100-stop free ceiling as SortMyStops.com. Capacity is only one part of the product.
Sort My Stops is the American version of a planner that has been running in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Danish and British markets for a while. Routing and geocoding infrastructure is shared across those markets. Keeping the single-driver planner free is a deliberate product decision, while more operational requirements belong in a different class of software.
A paid product would cover a different job: assigning stops across several vehicles, enforcing time windows and tracking service durations. The current planner remains focused on one driver arranging one route.

Is Sort My Stops really free?
Yes. There is no account, no card, no trial that expires and no feature held back behind an upgrade prompt. The planner you get today is the whole product.
What is the catch?
Scope. This is a single-driver planner: one route at a time, no enforced time windows, no proof of delivery and no public API. If you need fleet dispatch, this is not the right product.
How can you afford to give away 100 stops?
The planner uses open map data and infrastructure shared across several country versions. The current product is funded as a free single-driver tool rather than through a per-route subscription.
Will it stay free?
The intention is to keep the current single-driver planner free, but an indefinite pricing guarantee would be misleading. Any future price or limit change will be published on this page before it applies.
Do you sell my addresses?
No. Persistent drafts stay in your browser, while route data is processed by the site's API and selected geocoding or routing providers. There is no account-based profile and route data is not sold for advertising. See the privacy page for the full data flow.
I need multiple drivers or time windows. What now?
Email contact@sortmystops.com with roughly how many stops and drivers you run. A professional version is in planning and it helps to hear what real routes look like.
