What the redirect means
Older articles and bookmarks may still describe Speedy Route as a stand-alone optimizer with its own free and paid limits. That description is now historical. Visiting the old domain leads to deliveryplanner.com, the free browser planner published under the Spoke brand.
Spoke publishes the terms that matter for a free user: 20 stops per route, three route optimizations per day, no account and no app download. It can optimize the order, show the route on a map and hand the result to a phone.
How to choose a current replacement
Count the complete route
Include your starting point, any required finishing point and every visit that needs to be part of the same optimization. If that total fits within 20, Spoke or RouteXL may be enough. MapQuest extends the free limit to 26 locations. SortMyStops.com and Shipday both publish a 100-stop free tool.
Check the quota as well as the stop limit
A per-route limit and a per-day limit solve different problems. Spoke allows three optimized routes per day and notes that editing a route counts toward the quota. That may be plenty for an occasional route and restrictive when plans change repeatedly.
Check import and address review
Stop capacity is only useful when the address list can be loaded accurately. Check whether your planner accepts the files you receive, shows uncertain address matches and lets you correct a point before optimization. Know when you need dispatch software
These tools plan one route for one driver. If the former Speedy Route workflow involved dividing work across vehicles, enforcing time windows or tracking deliveries, compare dispatch products instead.
